Byline Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group provided a $17.5 million term loan to The Schirm Firm to finance the acquisition of Trotters Park, a multifamily property located at 720 Michigan Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.

The financing marks the fourth transaction between Byline Bank and The Schirm Firm, a family-owned real estate company. The property is centrally located in an infill pocket between downtown Columbus and The Ohio State University.

“Strong client relationships are at the center of how we approach commercial real estate lending, and we’re pleased to continue supporting The Schirm Firm with this acquisition,” said Sarah Hunter, Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at Byline Bank. “Our familiarity with their team and investment approach allowed us to work efficiently together throughout the financing process and provide a solution aligned with their needs for Trotters Park.”
