Morningside Group plans to renovate and add hundreds of units to the Sunset Ridge at Alamo Heights apartment complex. The company recently filed a zoning change request with the city to allow for more infill development, hoping to increase the total units from 324 to 1,425. The firm acquired the property in 2022. The San Antonio Business Journal reports that while the company provides a construction schedule, it plans to build units based on market timing. The company is also planning a makeover of existing units.

Monthly rents range from $1,175 – $1,600. And room sizes range from 771 to 1,024 square feet.

The complex has a business center with a conference room, a gym that’s open 24/7, a pool with cabanas, a clubhouse, and Bocce ball courts.

The Sunset Ridge shopping center is across the street.
