Hillpointe acquired a 32.5-acre site at 18610 Wedge Parkway in South Reno, on which it will build a 358-home rental community called Pointe Grand Cape at Southport.

Pointe Grand Cape at Southport will feature 268 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments across 12 residential buildings, along with 90 built-to-rent three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom townhomes, each with an attached two-car garage. The community will feature a clubhouse, along with a resort-style pool and hot tub, a fully equipped fitness center, a dedicated dog park and a pickleball court.

The community’s location is just 5 to 10 minutes from The Summit Reno, one of the area’s premier shopping, dining and lifestyle destinations.

Grading at Pointe Grand Cape at Southport will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with full site work starting in December and vertical construction anticipated in March 2027. Following first deliveries in January 2028, the community is slated for completion in April 2028.

Hillpointe was represented by Ryan Kruger of Land Advisors Organization in the transaction.
