Treenail Development recently broke ground on Town1, a $340 million development in Huntersville.

The Charlotte Business Journal reports Town 1 will include over 700 residential units, 75,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and neighborhood services space. Geisler will also develop a five-story, 120,000-square-foot office building at Town1. The 54-acre mixed-use project is expected to be completed in 2028.

Town1 is also making room for a 17-acre business park on the north end of the project site. The business park is being planned to include shallow-bay flex industrial space.

The residential component of Town1 will include three product types: 327 urban flat apartments, 305 garden-style apartments and 70 townhomes. Blackburn Communities is leading the development of Junction at Town1, a complex including the townhomes and garden-style apartments.

The retail element at Town1 includes development pads for a brewery, cantina and medical offices. Other restaurant and neighborhoods-service uses are being plotted there as well.
