For the second year in a row, Connect CRE, Connect Canada CRE, and ApartmentBuildings.com present the ApartmentBuildings.com 100. These awards honor advancement and achievement in the broadly defined multifamily space, including build-to-rent, student housing, seniors housing and mixed-use with residential.

From dealmaking and development to technology and finance, the awards recognize success across deal sizes and pay tribute to innovation. We’re spotlighting the largest multifamily REIT merger of recent years as well as a modular-construction model office that will see a second life as an accessory dwelling unit.

In this year’s awards section, you’ll read about the following:

  • Dealmakers of the Year – including brokers, investors, developers, and executives who play a central role in initiating, negotiating, structuring, and closing transactions
  • Developers of the Year – recognizing planning, financing, building, and marketing
  • Innovators of the Year – including technology, property management, financing, sustainability, affordability, and private-public partnerships.
  • Investors/Owners of the Year – including private investors, institutional investors, private equity & real estate investment firm leaders, REIT leaders and landlords
  • Transactions of the Year – including purchases/sales, lease agreements, financing/refinancing, joint ventures and partnerships, and development agreements.
