A new 25-acre Cottage Green community will bring 278 rental homes to Tomball.
HMF Americana secured construction financing from Siguler Guff & Co. and Benefit Street Partners to construct the build-to-rent project. The 18-month loan, arranged by Sterling Realty Capital, includes a senior note and a B-piece with two six-month extension options.

HMF Americana, a horizontal multifamily developer, will begin construction on its Tomball project in mid-November. The community will feature single-story rental homes. Each residence will include private yards and large porches. Planned amenities include a clubhouse and pool, a dog park, pickleball courts and several pocket parks connected by an internal main street.

HMF Americana is also developing Cottage Green communities in Baytown and Conroe, with move-ins beginning in November and December, respectively
