Known for her quick wit, ready smile and genuine caring, Abby Ahrens says her greatest success in 43 years of real estate and development is her reputation for being the real “Dear Abby”.

Abby successfully runs her own real estate office. She has received a continuum of production awards and has served as President of the South County Real Estate Board, Director, Secretary and Treasurer of the Los Altos Board, as well as a state-wide delegate to the California Association of Realtors. She has been selected numerous times by governmental agencies for appointment to boards and committees dealing with land use in Los Altos and in Santa Clara County. She has won awards for advertising, building design and cross-country exchanges.

The only two-time winner of the Public Service Award, she’s left her mark, be it the donation of the historic Los Altos Hills Heritage House, coordinating volunteers to construct Los Altos’ gazebo in Lincoln Park, developing a bevy of new heirloom housing, rich in historical design, but mostly in the hearts of everyone she helps.

Abigail Ahrens name has become the priceless ingredient for enchanting new homes with charismatic exteriors imbued with the European spirit.

“I love the challenge of financial analysis, the satisfaction of helping others, but after all these years, I’m still having a love affair with homes…starting with ideas and seeing them become reality, being a builder of dreams”, she says.
