Affinius Capital has originated a $130.4 million construction loan to finance 1000 W. Jackson, a multifamily development located in Chicago’s West Loop submarket.
The 25-story development will feature 380 units and more than 21,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, pre-leased to ALDI, Inc. The loan was made to a joint venture between Mavrek Development, a Chicago-based developer, and Fengate Asset Management. The financing was arranged by John Parrett of CBRE.
Upon completion, 1000 W. Jackson will deliver 380 units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. The development will offer approximately 31,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities.
Strategically located at the corner of West Jackson Boulevard and South Morgan Street, the property sits within Chicago’s West Loop, three blocks south of Fulton Market, with walkable access to major employment centers, transit, and neighborhood amenities. The project will be constructed by Skender, with Eckenhoff Saunders serving as architect.
