Marriott International, Inc. and SomeraRoad, a New York- and Nashville-based opportunistic real estate investment and development firm, will partner on The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Brooklyn Heights, a collection of luxury residences. The project to redevelop the former 14-story Renaissance Revival Hotel Bossert at 98 Montague St. represents the borough’s first branded residential offering.

“The Hotel Bossert has long stood as one of Brooklyn’s most iconic buildings, and we are honored to help write its next chapter,” said Ian Ross, founder and managing principal of SomeraRoad. “Working alongside an extraordinary team of architects, designers, preservation experts, and the team at Marriott International, we are thoughtfully restoring this historic property while creating a residential experience that honors the Bossert’s rich legacy and celebrates the enduring appeal of Brooklyn Heights.”

Another first represented by the project will be a ground-floor restaurant from Union Square Hospitality Group, representing the brand’s first full-service eatery inBrooklyn.
